The Board

Karen Akiwumi-Tanoh

Ms. Akiwumi-Tanoh is a Chartered Accountant with a BSC Degree in Business Administration and a qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales (ICAEW). She is currently Chairman of First Atlantic Merchant Bank after about 25 years of working with the Ecobank Group, having been one of the pioneers of Ecobank (Ghana). Ms. Akiwumi-Tanoh has impressive credentials as a corporate executive, her experience across the continent as well as her finance, banking and accounting skills will be invaluable for the growth of the company.

Dela Wosornu

Mr. Wosornu is an exceptional financial advisor and entrepreneur with a career spanning 15 years. Throughout his years working for Renaissance Partners, SDC Brokerage and Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Wosornu has shown himself to have an invaluable knack for Strategy Development and Relationship Management. Mr. Wosornu holds a BSc in Economics and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Economics with Law from the University of Buckingham, England.

Carl Ampah

Mr. Carl Ampah is currently a National Program Officer with UNESCO. He is a seasoned educationist with many years experience working in the field. Mr. Ampah has graduate qualifications from Walden University (USA) and is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST, Ghana).

Gillian Heathcote

Gillian Heathcote has over 20 years of work experience in Journalism, Public Relations, Media Relations, Marketing, Events Management, Advertising, etc. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Entrepreneurship from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ). She also trained in Journalism teaching at the International Institute of Journalism (IIJB), Berlin.

Akosua Cobbah

Ms. Victoria Cobbah is an Administration and Management Specialist with extensive experience working with reputable institutions such as the Ghana Investment Promotion Council, the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Norwegian Embassy. Ms. Cobbah is an astute strategist and business executive who strongly believes in service to society and humanity in general. She holds an Executive MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a Diploma in Financial Services Management from the Institute of Financial Services, UK and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Cape Coast.
